Welcoming Sukkot

This year, the second anniversary of the atrocities of October 7 falls during Sukkot. A time our tradition names z’man simchateinu — the season of our rejoicing. Yet our joy is still overshadowed. For this evening, we will gather not in celebration, but in sacred interruption. We cannot sit in the sukkah without also sitting, symbolically, in a house of mourning. Join us at 6:00 PM to officially welcome Sukkot and to commemorate our continued grief.
