Construction Update | Demo at Kleinert
We have an exciting update on our progress with the renovations at our Kleinert campus.
We have now completed our 2nd week of demolition work and are making a lot of progress in such a short period of time. The plans include building a new sanctuary and renovating the existing building (old sanctuary, offices and classrooms) into new offices, classrooms and communal space. The stained glass from both Kleinert and Jefferson has been incorporated into the designs.

- Sanctuary pews have all been removed, bolts cut and floor covered to preserve the terrazzo floor for the next phase of the project

- Stained Glass windows in the sanctuary have been removed without incident and are being stored on site in a secure storage container

- Ceilings, ductwork, walls and electrical demolition are about 50% completed to date

- Abatement of any hazardous materials in the building will be determined in the next couple of weeks, but so far there aren't any surprises in what we thought we would find

- Back part of the parking lot has been removed to make room for the new sanctuary building to be built
