The group will discuss The Art of Resistance: My Four Years in the French Underground, by Justus Rosenberg. The author (who died in October 2021 at age 100) was well into his 90s when he wrote this memoir. He was born into a Jewish family in in the free-state of Danzig, but was studying in Paris when the War broke out. The book club hopes to meet in person. Details will follow.
For April, we will read Exile: Portraits of the Jewish Diaspora, by Annika Hernroth-Rothstein. It explores Jewish communities throughout the world, including Sweden, Turkey, Iran, Siberia and Uzbekistan. Date to be determined. Watch for details.
